Hamilton hosted Sweden's first-ever GC Powerlist

Yesterday, Hamilton together with Legal 500 hosted Sweden’s first-ever GC Powerlist, the internationally recognized publication that lists the 80 best general counsels in their respective country. The list was presented during a launch reception at Hamilton’s office in Stockholm, where the guests had the opportunity to speak about future challenges and opportunities for general counsels.

“The importance of in-house counsels has increased in recent years. We believe that the talent of the future will need to be both innovative and pragmatic when they face the challenges of tomorrow. Complex regulations and new technology require higher ability to deliver, which is something the selected in-house counsels have proven to master”, Emma Berglund, Managing Partner, Hamilton said.

The list, which contains representatives from a number of industries, such as finance, media, telecommunications and healthcare also incorporate general counsels from some of Sweden’s fastest growing tech companies.

”It is fantastic to see a list with such a diversification”, Emma Berglund, concluded.

Hamilton is very proud to have had the opportunity to introduce the list to Sweden and grateful that Legal 500 have chosen us as their partner.
